Last night was a great lightning storm. As we were driving home from my brother's graduation dinner, the sky was giving us a great show that we decided to drive out into the country to enjoy it at its best. We headed out of Kitchener near Trussler road and found a place to park. George relaxed while I frustratingly tried to take some photos. I didn't have a tripod and I didn't want to get wet so these thre shots were taken by balancing my camera on the passenger chair while it was reclined.

I like the effect of the rain on the glass.

I managed to catch one streak of lightning.
After the lighning stopped we decided to go home, but our car was stuck. It took some time, but George managed to pile enough brush under the wheels so we could get traction. He was a little muddy when we got home.

His shoes are still in the garage.
A slight deviation from my original post, but here are some more renovation pictures for my readers over seas, both of you ;)

A shot of orange.

George playing in the mud at home too!
