Nephew

Our nephew, Peter, is visiting us and he is a more fun to take pictures of then our cat! Mostly because our poor cat Jack has not taken a liking to Peter and has become a basement kitty sitting on his safety shelf in the workrom until Peter goes to bed.

Peter in the pool. On a walk last Sunday night, George and I came across this kiddie pool that someone put out in the trash. It does not have a hole in it so we brought it home. It is a big hit.

Pick a peck of pickled peppers?

I had my first harvest from our garden this morning. It wasn't that impressive, but I picked a sweet banana pepper and a zucchini. We ate them for lunch today.

The sweet banana pepper that was picked.

More sweet banana peppers on the way!

A bell pepper. I didn't plant green ones. I think I planted either red and yellow or red and orange. I can't remember. I hoped they by getting the coloured ones I would be able to tell when they are ripe.

Catnip Turf Wars

"Hiss, Hiss, Growl!" (translation: "One step closer to my catnip and your name will be Mud!")
- Jack does not get along with the new cat in the neighbourhood and asserts his authority.
