Yesterday we started our journey after a dinner at Grandpa's and a visit to George's parents. We arrived at the border close to midnight. There were a couple of cars in front of us so it took less than 20 minutes to get on our way. We stayed the night in Dewitt, MI. The hotel had breakfast included. We figured it was just toast and bagels, but they have a batter dispenser and a waffle maker.
We have a long day of driving ahead, but we hope to stop at the windy city to take some pictures. See George's blog for the start of our journey (link is in the side bar).

I hope that your trip is full of adventure; fun adventure, none of that pain in the butt stuff that you can only call an adventure years later. Anyway, have a wonderful trip.
